This report provides a jurisdictional analysis of the results from the 2021 National Community Attitudes towards Violence against Women Survey (NCAS).
Attitudes matter: The 2021 National Community Attitudes towards Violence against Women Survey (NCAS), Findings for Australian states and territories:

- benchmarks, as at 2021, each jurisdiction’s understanding and attitudes regarding violence against women, attitudes towards gender inequality and intention to intervene when witnessing abuse or disrespect of women
- compares each jurisdiction’s understanding and attitudes in 2021 to Australia as a whole
- determines if each jurisdiction’s understanding and attitudes have improved since the 2017 NCAS.
